Whale Watching Talk Terrigal - Saturday 2nd of July

Whale Watching Talk Terrigal Saturday July 2nd
The majestic Humpback Whales pass close to our Central Coast on their way north each year during June and July. Not everyone can see them from a boat, so the local headlands are the next best thing! Local naturalist and whale enthusiast, Jeannie Lawson, has run headland whale talks since 1986 and will share her passion for whales this year in a series of talks sponsored by Gosford City Council.
Jeannie will talk about the natural history of whales, share her personal stories about whale and dolphin encounters, answer questions and help you spot the whales as they travel past our coast. Bookings are not needed for these talks and you can drop in for any talk session. Remember to bring binoculars, sun protection and drinking water.
Each talk will run for 45 minutes and will commence at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
Terrigal Viewing Platform 2 is the southern platform on the grassed area above Terrigal Haven - please note that this is NOT the Skillion.
